- Building scalable platforms used by people around the globe while developing and maintaining products with billions of page views per month

- Own the development process end-to-end, participating in product design discussions, writing and reviewing code, assuring quality and the strategy for the development
- Advocate for product quality, security, and performance improvements that have a particular impact across your team and others.
- Focused on delivery towards DevOps mentality
- Contributing to the EU engineering community through our guilds
- Driving in the discovery process by having access to the research panel
- Shaping the OKRs alongside product managers
- Assist our development team and operations triaging and resolving production issue
- Mentor other engineers and improve standards, tooling and processes
- Critical mindset and autonomy. You will be contributing to identifying what needs to be done to achieve our unit goals.
- Able to effectively communicate in English complex technical concepts to different disciplines (designers, support team, other engineers). You will have a higher impact by influencing others to follow your technical decisions than if you try to do everything yourself.
- You have experience with large scale web applications with an economic thinking mindset.
- Demonstrated expertise working with one or more of the following: Front End Development
- Passionate about TDD, and you're not shy about it.
- Experience building Javascript apps using React and Redux
- Good understanding of Front end Architectures and focus on performance (server-side and client-side)
- Used to work with CI/CD practices, RESTful APIs, and AWS
- You're tech-savvy, active in open source communities to find the latest solutions in the market.
- Experience in technical coaching and mentorship, as well as technical leadership. As a Staff Engineer, other Engineers will look up to you, and you should be able to lead by example.
- Full-remote setup and currently residing in Portugal
- Opportunity to work with a multitude of microservices' architecture on Golang, React and Next.js. Prepare these to cope with all the traffic and scale we need to handle

As a RemoteStaff Frontend Engineer, you can work in a full-remote setup currently residing in Portugal and you'll be working on a mixed tech stack based on a microservices architecture, entirely on Amazon Web Services, with open source libs like React and Next.
